30 Dayiversary

August 12th, 2008

One of the things we thought about doing for our thirtieth blog entry to take our lovely model’s photo and combine a feature from each of our functions to show you just how easy it would be to completely change the way you look. Then we thought that, after playing with her face for the last thirty days it might just be a better idea to show you what she looks like naturally (we’ve done this a couple of times now) and to show you that she doesn’t really need any further “morphing.” That doesn’t mean, though, that you shouldn’t have fun with your own photos! There are plenty of options available here at Moonjee and more than anything we want you to have fun with your photos!

Painting

August 11th, 2008

Have you ever wanted to have an oil painting done of yourself or one of your friends but didn’t have the funds to have one commissioned? With the Moonjee “morph a face” feature, you can have one done for free! To see what you would look like, choose the “morph a face” menu and then either choose a photo from your folder or upload a new one. Then, under the “caricature” button is a slider that runs from “realistic” to “artistic.” For our model we slid the slider all the way to “artistic” but you’re free to choose how in depth you want your artistic rendering should be.

Full Makeover

August 10th, 2008

Unlike other makeover morphing functions, the makeover function offered my Moonjee allows you to layer the different aspects of your makeover on one photo. This gives you the chance to play with your hairstyle, your eye shadow, your lipstick, your blush—all at the same time! To do this, simply choose the makeover function from the Moonjee menu and then, instead of saving your photo after changing one part of your face, hold off until you’ve played with everything! This photo of our model is simply us having fun with the feature—it isn’t a look we’d recommend that she adopt, but it certainly is fun to look at, isn’t it?

Rosy Cheeks?

August 9th, 2008

This brings a new definition of “rosy cheeks” to mind doesn’t it? To get this look, choose the makeover function on Moonjee and then either choose one of the photos in your folder or upload a new one. From here choose the “face” option and then go to it! There are plenty of “face” colors to choose from, from bright red to pale peach to lavender. You can also play with how dense the application of the color is. For this look we moved the slider all the way over to the right. To get rid of the color simply either choose another one or cancel your makeover morph!

Too Much Blue Eyeshadow?

August 8th, 2008

In the early 1990s a movie called My Girl was released. One of the most famous quotes from this movie is a line said by Jamie Lee Curtis: “A girl can never wear too much blue eye shadow.” Thanks to the Moonjee makeover interface (no pun intended), we can play around and see if Jamie Lee Curtis’s line is true. What do you think? Does our model look suave and stylish with her eyelids covered in dark blue eye shadow or is it something that needs a lighter touch? The makeover function has plenty of different colors for you to play with as well as color densities. Have fun!

The Right Lip Color?

August 7th, 2008

Choosing the right lip color can often be a challenge. There are rules against sampling actual lipstick colors when you’re in the store (most stores don’t like you to open the packaging until after you’ve paid for the product) and what looks good under bright light bulbs might not look as good when you are outdoors and in natural light. So what do you do? Well, one option is to try out different colors with our virtual makeover. Our tool lets you play with different colors and different densities of certain colors. Try it out and see what you think!

The Red Headed Girl

August 6th, 2008

One of the things that people are most interested in when they come to photo morphing sites like ours is finding out what they would look like with different physical features like different colored hair. For today’s blog we decided to see what our lovely model would look like with flowing red hair. She doesn’t look to bad, does she? In fact, we think she looks pretty good! What would you look like with one of the hair styles we have featured in our virtual makeover section? We have quite a few different hairstyles and hair colors to choose from!

Personality Profile

August 5th, 2008

Have you ever wondered what your face said about you? They say a photo is worth a thousand words, is it true? Do you ever wonder what kind of impression people get when they see your photo? Moonjee has put together a feature that gives you a snapshot of what people think when they see a picture of you. We’re working on making it more specific, but a vague idea is better than no idea, right? Choose the “face personality” feature and then either upload a photo of yourself or choose one from your portfolio. Then sit back and see what the Moonjee face personality profiler says about you!

Scars

August 4th, 2008

This scar looks a little funky, but it isn’t truly “ugly.” To see what you would look like with this scar, upload a photo of your own (or choose one that you have already uploaded) and then, after selecting the “ugly face” menu, choose the first scar in the top row (the image fourth from the left). Right now we can only put it in the corner of your forehead, giving you a sort of “One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest” look, but as we add more features to Moonjee we might be able to add in the ability to move the scars around on your face!

Fungi Face

August 3rd, 2008

Wow! Our poor model looks like what would happen if her face were covered in a horrible fungus—like athletes foot! This is not a pleasant looking affliction! To see what you would look like were this affliction to affect you, follow these steps. As always, upload a photo of yourself or choose one you’ve already uploaded. Then choose the “ugly face” menu. Under the “ugly face” menu choose the malady on the top row, the picture that is third from the left. Don’t be surprised if your first reaction is to run to the bathroom to wash your face!
